FROM SEEDJUNKY GENETICS’TRIBUTE TO THE PROJECT TO CREATE EXCLUSIVE LIMITED-EDITION STRAINS
As with all ourprojects todevelop thehighest-quality cannabis strains, we always strive for excellence, innovation, and exclusivity as fundamental criteria for achieving all our professional goals. For this new 2025 campaign, we wanted to pay tribute to one of the most brilliant California breeders of his generation, for whom we have great respect both for his entire career and for the overall quality of his premium genetics. He is the creator of the now-famous cannabis strains Wedding Cake, Jealousy, Ice Cream Cake, Animal Mints, Animal Face, Orange Push Pop, and, more recently, Permanent Marker. As you may have guessed, yes, it is indeed Anthony Hart, aka Jbeezy/Seedjunky Genetics.
Seedjunky Genetics has distinguished itself for many years through the quality of its top-tier cannabis genetics in California. Whether in the form of seeds, flowers, concentrates, or pre-rolled cannabis cigarettes, it’s easy to see that everything he touches turns to gold. The team at SILENT SEEDS highly values the quality of Seedjunky Genetics’ strains, particularly Wedding Cake—not only for its high yield, its unique and delicious terpene profile (Kush, cake, vanilla, mint, earthy), or its potency capable of knocking out an elephant. It’s true that all these organoleptic qualities won us over from the very first moment, but what’s even more interesting about Wedding Cake is that it also boasts excellent genetic makeup and brings great complementary qualities to anything it might be crossed with.
Furthermore, when the team at SILENT SEEDS analyzed the lineage of all the strains developed by Seedjunky Genetics, we quickly realized that Jbeezy approaches breeding with logic, rigor, and a systematic approach, resulting in strains that are exceptionally stable.
This actually makes perfect sense, since many of its varieties share a closely related genetic lineage, which results in this very strong genetic stability; the only downside to all of this, is that, ultimately, many of its hybrids also share fairly similar overall characteristics across the board (plant structure, yield, aromatic profile, etc.). This can become problematic over time, as it leads to potentially excessive homogeneity within its collection, which ultimately limits genetic diversity.
While giving it all the credit it deserves, we realized after a while, around 2021–2022, that his genetic collection was starting to go in circles for those very reasons, but since then he has taken a different direction and is now further diversifying his gene pool, with the aim of incorporating more genetic diversity into his catalog. What’s certain is that his signature Kushy/Gassy aroma is still there, but with innovative and incredibly high-quality variations—a true work of art.
After some consideration, the team at SILENT SEEDS decided to pay tribute to his work without necessarily seeking a direct collaboration, as we’ve done in recent years with various prestigious breeders on the international cannabis scene. This time, we were truly committed to carrying out an even more thorough selection and stabilization process, which is why we undertook the project to select and create the strain named Mint Candy. We could have collected certain high-quality elite clones from some of his genetics to ultimately create an S1 version, but that wasn’t very interesting—we wanted something more authentic, with a true creation of our own, especially since we have the knowledge and experience to do so easily.
For the project to create the cannabis strain Mint Candy, we first conducted a major selection process using regular seeds from the Animal Mints Bx1 and Face Mints strains by Seedjunky Genetics. From this initial stage, we carefully selected an Animal Bx1 male and a Face Mints female, which were then crossed to produce a new batch of regular seeds. From this new batch of seeds, we conducted another rigorous selection process among more than 500 plants to finally obtain our elite female Animal Face Mints clone .
The final stage of this breeding project was therefore to cross elite, trendy, and sought-after clones—such as Tropicanna Cookies, RS-11, and Face Off OG Bx2—with our Animal Face Mints clone, which we selected ourselves. Subsequently, the final step in this entire process was to conduct a series of in-depth tests to verify the performance level—and, in particular, the stability and quality—of these exceptional new limited-edition varieties, so that we could ultimately be certain of delivering the highest level of satisfaction to even the most discerning growers and collectors around the globe.
MINT CANDY
Mint Candy is a premium, limited-edition, exotic feminized cannabis seed for collectorsthat lets you discover the full richness of today’s finest Californian genetics by combining the exceptional and unique properties of two ultra-premium American strains: Face Off OG Bx2 and Animal Face Mints.
Mint Candy is a limited-edition cannabis hybrid that demonstrates great vigor, as it typically produces fairly slender cannabis plants; this is why we recommend limiting the growth period to a maximum of 3 weeks indoors. Mint Candy is a cannabis cultivar that offers excellent airflow within its plant structure, which helps prevent many fungal problems, particularly during the final phase of flowering. Mint Candy is a limited-edition cannabis plant that is particularly pleasing to the eye, both in terms of its structural form and its sumptuous leaves, which feature a beautiful purple coloration with striking bluish hues.
For anyone looking for a high-yielding, exotic cannabis strain, Mint Candy cannabis seeds also have a lot to offer (550–600 g/m² indoors), as you can easily grow plants with delicious , dense flowers generously covered in resinous trichomes—a major draw for enthusiasts of top-quality cannabis extracts and concentrates. Mint Candy is a limited-edition cannabis strain that offers an incredible tasting experience, as you’ll fully enjoy an intense and complex aromatic profile, with distinct notes of mint, gourmet cookie, lemon, petroleum, pine, and Kush (gassy)—a true treat for the senses!
When grown, the limited-edition Mint Candy cannabis seed produces a plant whose flowers deliver a fairly potent effect—initially cerebral, followed by a physical sensation that invites relaxation or rest. Mint Candy is, in our opinion, more of an Indica-dominant strain, best enjoyed in the evening, once you have nothing important left to do, so you can treat yourself to an exceptional moment of relaxation.
Mint Candy is a true limited-edition “must-have” that truly combines the very best for all fans of Kush/gassy strains, because we’ve put our deep passion for the cannabis plant at the heart of this project, with the goal of simply satisfying everyone who’s like us, that is, all lovers of rare, high-quality US strains—but be warned, there won’t be enough to go around!
RAINBOW GAS
These limited-edition feminized cannabis seeds from Rainbow Gasgive you the opportunity to grow one of the finest new-generation cannabis strains, with truly exceptional performance across the board. Rainbow Gas is an exclusive, limited-edition cannabis strain, created by crossing the fabulous RS-11 and Animal Face Mints. Rainbow Gas is truly a premium cannabis hybrid, bursting with color, that will treat you to truly breathtaking sensory experiences in every way!
Rainbow Gas is a limited-edition cannabis hybrid with a fairly open plant structure, which allows for good light penetration as well as good airflow at the center of the plant, since the distance between the various nodes is relatively large. We must admit that Rainbow Gas pleasantly surprised us with the remarkable uniformity we observed within this genetic line, as phenotypic variation is ultimately quite limited—a true mark of quality and stability!
If you’re a big fan of the Sherbert and Zkittlez strains—or simply of RS-11—well, know that you’ll find all of that in this strain, but with even more depth and complexity to delight even the most discerning palates. Rainbow Gas will certainly surprise most of you, as its aromatic qualities are so intense, complex, and deep—creating a perfect harmony of scent and flavor—that all your senses will be overwhelmed by a feeling of happiness or pleasure that’s hard to describe, because the experience is so incredibly pleasant! Yes, it’s Nirvana for your entire sensory system!
Rainbow Gas ’s limited-edition cannabis seed also boasts a plant structure that is like a botanical work of art—so perfectly composed as a whole. The excellent structural growth of the limited-edition cannabis hybrid Rainbow Gas already hints at the great yield potential of this exceptional cannabis cultivar! In fact, “ Rainbow Gas ” can easily yield generous harvests of delicious, tightly packed flowers (550–600 g/m² indoors); it’s a truly surprising exotic hybrid, both in terms of the quality and quantity it produces—a rarity in this category that’s worth highlighting!
Rainbow Gas is a cannabis plant that truly has more than one trick up its sleeve, because in addition to providing you with a bountiful harvest, it will charm all your senses with its exceptional aroma and flavor—which are extremely intense and feature a very pleasant complexity, blending deep notes of refined, sweet, gourmet pastries (Sherbert) with subtle floral notes, which then blend with the aromatic profile of Zkittlez—featuring deliciously sweet candy notes perfectly complemented by Kush, gassy, and earthy notes that act as a flavor enhancer for the whole experience—placing you right at the heart of a tasting experience of the highest caliber!
A colleague and friend who recently opened a legally operated Cannabis Social Club in Germany—and who had the chance to test our new strains exclusively—told us, “There are too many terpenes, guys—it’s too intense and too strong!” We replied, “That’s great news—thanks, Michael!” We’re particularly pleased with the performance of “ Rainbow Gas,” as it’s truly an excellent, well-rounded strain in many ways—one that might even surprise the most discerning enthusiasts! To all lovers of extractions of every kind, we especially recommend “ Rainbow Gas ,” as it produces concentrates of unparalleled quality.
Very often, cannabis plants with an extraordinary terpene profile—such as Rainbow Gas —have an incredible aroma and flavor, but their potency is generally moderate. As for Rainbow Gas, there’s no downside—you’ll feel a powerful effect wash over you from the very first moments. It starts mentally, leaving your mind clear with a very pleasant , uplifting sensation , and then evolves into physical sensations that invite you to rest for a long time.
When growing a cannabis plant from Rainbow Gas, you’ll be able to enjoy an Indica-dominant high after harvest— an effect that’s becoming increasingly rare these days, as many of the polyhybrids on the market offer more subtle effects. Here, you have an authentic and delightful strain designed to provide deep, all-over relaxation. Rainbow Gas has truly proven to be an exceptional cannabis strain during the testing phase we observed—undoubtedly because it demonstrates a comprehensive range of qualities at every level. If you’re looking for a strain that’s remarkable in every way, then Rainbow Gas definitely deserves a spot in your grow room!
TROPICAL JAM
Tropical Jam is a premium, limited-edition feminized cannabis strain with a magnificent, well-structured, sturdy, and robust plant framework. “ Tropical Jam ” is a cannabis plant that allows excellent light penetration to the center of the plant, which is essential for ensuring proper ventilation and thereby reducing the risk of various fungal diseases. At the same time, this ensures aharvest of flowers with a more uniform size across all parts of this exceptional hybrid.
What’s surprising about a cannabis cultivar like Tropical Jam is that even the buds on the lower branches develop a beautiful final floral structure, along with excellent compactness—truly the pedigree of a champion! As is the trend with many high-quality exotic varieties recently released on the market, Tropical Jam displays a splendid purple hue on the buds in 80% of the phenotypes observed during the last two weeks of flowering. Try to maintain a temperature difference of about 10°C between the day and night cycles to enhance the purple coloring of your flower clusters.
When growing limited-edition feminized cannabis seeds from Tropical Jam , growers seeking an exotic strain of the highest quality with superior yield potential should try a hybrid like Tropical Jam, because compared to many exotic strains on the market, we can proudly announce that it produces abundant harvests of large, very compact flowers that are brimming with resinous trichomes and accompanied by a delicious aroma that invites you to taste them.
Tropical Jam, a limited-edition cannabis seed, gives you the opportunity to grow a plant that will offer you truly stunning sensory experiences—especially in terms of aroma and flavor—as you’ll literally be immersed in an intensely tropical world! Tropical Jam is sure to captivate all your senses, no doubt thanks to its intense and highly complex aroma, which features distinct fruity notes of citrus, passion fruit, and guava, perfectly blended with refined hints of mint and Kush (gassy). Needless to say, “ Tropical Jam ” will be your best ally for creating vibrant and utterly delicious cannabis extracts !
It’s like a total immersion in the tropics for your greatest pleasure, with a deliciously harmonious escape!
