6 practical tips for optimal use of the germination kit:

1. Substrate preparation

Start by thoroughly moistening the entire substrate of the Root Starter Kit with lukewarm water (between 23 and 26°C). Watering should be gentle but sufficient for the moisture to be uniform throughout the pot.

2. Seed placement

Using a pencil, dig a small hole about 0.5 cm deep in the center of each pot. Place one seed in each hole, then lightly cover it with the surrounding soil. Do not pack down the soil, this allows the seed to emerge more easily when germinating.

3. Creating an optimal environment

Place the Root Starter Kit in a suitable mini greenhouse to control temperature and humidity. Ideal conditions to maintain:

• Temperature: between 22 and 28°C
• Humidity: between 80% and 90%

Spray lukewarm water (at room temperature) whenever the soil starts to dry out. These parameters must remain stable throughout the process. Good rigor here greatly increases the success rate.

4. Germination time

If all conditions are met, the seeds start to germinate within 3 to 8 days. You will then see a small white root appear: the radicle, the basis of the future root system.

5. Light and watering management

During germination, keep the seeds in total darkness. As soon as the radicle emerges, place the seedlings under soft to moderate light, suitable for young plants. Avoid overwatering, as this could cause etiolation (plant too thin and fragile) because the seedlings would seek light by elongating.

6. Repotting (between 10 and 12 days)

When the seedlings reach 2 to 4 cm, it's time to repot them:

• Water the pots generously to facilitate extraction without damaging the roots.
• Remove each seedling by gently pressing the bottom of the pot with a finger.
• Repot into a larger pot (intermediate or final) according to your cultivation strategy.
• This marks the beginning of the vegetative growth phase, a key stage for the plant's development.
